International festival of contemporary arts to be held in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, 26 October /MOLDPRES/ - The fourth edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Arts BE FREE FEST will be held at the Chisinau-based Satiricus I.L. Caragiale National Theatre on 28 October - 3 November 2022.    

According to the organizers, the issue of this year, the biggest one so far, will comprise nine cultural events with the participation of artists from Sibiu, Bucharest, Berlin, Vienna and Chisinau, to which hundreds of audience will have access. ‘’In the context of the Russian aggression in Ukraine and the threats to world peace and order, we invite you to celebrate together the Art, in a harmonious combination between theatre, dance, film and music, titled, The Power of Freedom,’’ reads a press release issued by the Mihai Eminescu Romanian Cultural Institute in Chisinau.        

The festival’s official opening will take place on 28 October, starting from 18:30, with the play, Come as you are 2, Nir de Volff, made by the Total Brutal Company, in cooperation with Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe and Neu Start Kultur, Berlin, Germany.    

The International Festival of Contemporary Arts BE FREE FEST will end on 3 November, at 18:30, with the show, The Life under Water, held by the dance company, Body Architects, from Vienna, Austria.
