Sheriff Tiraspol defeated by Manchester United

Chisinau, Oct. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova's champion Sheriff Tiraspol was defeated yesterday by English club Manchester United with a score of 3-0, in a match from group E of the Europa League.
According to the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF), in the other group E match, Omonoia Nicosia (Cyprus) lost to Real Sociedad (Spain), 0-2. Real Sociedad leads the ranking by 15 points. Manchester United follows by 12 points, Sheriff – 3 and Omonoia – 0.
The last match in the European League groups, Moldova's champion will play on 2 November against Omonoia Nicosia.
