Over 50 cultural events organized in Moldova within MoldArte project

Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ - Over 50 cultural events have been organized within the MoldArte project during March-October. The project is financed by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) through the European Spaces of Culture programme. The project is organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute, in cooperation with Goethe-Institut Bucharest, Embassy of Austria in Moldova and the European Union’s Delegation in Moldova.        

The results of the project were unveiled at a today’s news conference. Attending the event were Representative of Austria in Chisinau Paulus Adelsgruber, President EUNIC Moldova Stella Avallone, Director of Goethe-Institut Bucharest Joachim Umlauf, President of the Romanian Cultural Institute Liviu Jicman, the director of the Association of Creation Companies from Moldova, Vasili Braga, and the founder of the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, Adriano Marian.      

MoldArte is a project within the European Spaces of Culture, which is set to test and implement innovating models of cooperation in culture between European actors – EUNIC members and EU delegations – and local partners from non-EU member states, providing strategic goals of EU, an approach of the international cultural relations. The European Spaces of Culture is a preparatory Action, initiated by the European Parliament, implemented by EUNIC in close collaboration with the European Commission and the European External Action Service. European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) is the European network of national cultural institutions, with 38 members from all EU member states and the association countries.
