Representative of Russia's Embassy in Moldova declared undesirable person

Chisinau, 31 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MAEIE) today informed that, in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961), decision-makers had ruled to declare a representative of Russia’s Embassy in Chisinau as undesirable person and he is obliged to leave the territory of Moldova.  

According to the quoted source, this fact was communicated to the Russian side today afternoon, on the occasion of the summoning of Russia’s Ambassador to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov at the MAEIE’s headquarters.    

“At the summoning, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration reiterated the fact that the attack with missiles against the neighbour country escalated, in continuation, the security risks and the Moldovan citizens feel more and more the disastrous effects of the war. The Ministry stressed that the attacks against the Ukrainian energy infrastructure triggered including bigger and bigger threats to the country’s energy security,’’ the press release of the Foreign Affairs Ministry reads.
