Moldovan ceramist exhibits works at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 1 November /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition by ceramist Ivan Prividiuc was inaugurated at the National Ethnography and Natural History Museum (MNEIN) today.    

The event was organized by the National Centre of Preservation and Promotion of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and the host institution.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, MNEIN director Petru Vicol said the exhibition presented works of decorative ceramics by master, fine artist, ceramist Ivan Prividiuc. ‘’Ivan Prividiuc creates ceramics in his style, coloured in black-brown, in technique ‘’with milk.’’ Besides the ceramics of black colour, in the last several years, he started creating ceramics with crystals, got following chemical experiments. The vessels with crystals are quite living coloured and expressive,’’ Petru Vicol stressed.     

Ivan Prividiuc was born in the Iablona village, northern Glodeni district, on 1 February 1962. He graduated from the University of Fine Arts from Moscow. He cooperated with the Stiinta (Science) publishing house, creating book graphic. He participated in different fairs and exhibitions: Made in Moldova (2009), Food technology (2009), International Ceramic Plen-Air” (2009) and other events.    

The exhibition will be opened till 23 January 2023.
