Chisinau, 8 November /MOLDPRES/ - The 11th issue of the J.S. Bach International Music Festival will be held at the Organ Hall on 10-17 November.
According to the organizers, the schedule of this edition of the festival comprises four concerts of high artistic value, with the participation of valuable artists from Switzerland, Germany, Moldova, Romania and Spain. The festival will open on 10 November with a concert titled, Bach and Cellissimo, due to be given by the National Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Cristian Florea, with a young German cello player, Florian Schmidt-Bartha, as soloist.
The festival will culminate traditionally with a concert titled, The Bach Universe, for the carrying out of which all artistic forces of the Organ Hall will be involved.
A novelty of the edition is the placement of a LED screen on the frontispiece of the Organ Hall’s building, on which all concerts from the festival’s opening and closing will be broadcast live. This is a way of sharing the holiday of music with the Chisinau residents and the capital’s guests from nearby the Organ Hall, as well as an opportunity to promote and make the institution’s work known to the wide audience.
The concerts will start at 18:30. The tickets are available at the Organ Hall and online on the website www.iticket.md. The price of a ticket varies between 80 and 200 lei. The festival’s organizers are the host institution and the J.S. Bach Cultural Foundation.
