Income tax receipts from real estate leasing increasing

Chisinau, Nov. 15 /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) announced today that income tax receipts from private people who lease real estate have increased by 22.3% since the beginning of the year, compared to the same period of the previous year, and represent 32, 9 million lei (about 1.65 million euros).

According to the institution, as a result of voluntary compliance and information actions, in January-October 2022, 5,105 private people were identified who lease real estate.

"Also, for 442 private people who rent real estate, the following were calculated additionally to the budget: basic payments in the amount of 316.4 thousand lei, late payment increase in the amount of 28.1 thousand lei and a fine applied in the amount of 37.0 thousand lei", indicates the SFS.

As a result of the actions taken during 2022, 16,802 real estate leasing contracts were registered.
