Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - We firmly condemn this unjust war, which continues to kill people and endanger thousands of people. This war directly hits Moldova too, triggering crises on more dimensions. Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita has made statements to this effect, following the attack with missiles launched by Russia in Ukraine. The attack caused the automatic disconnection of a power line, which provides the transportation of electric energy for Moldova and tens of settlements remained in blackout.

“The Kremlin today started the biggest attack with missiles against the civilian and energy infrastructure from Ukraine, endangering the lives of thousands of people. We firmly condemn this unjust war, which continues to kill people and to endanger thousands of people. This war continues to directly hit our country, triggering crises on more dimensions. In Moldova, tens of settlements remained without power supply, after the today’s attacks from Ukraine caused the automatic disconnection on one of the power lines which provide electric energy for Moldova,’’ the PM said.

The prime minister noted that the employees of the Moldelectrica enterprise had acted quickly to maintain the continuous supply with electric energy. Thus, the deliveries of electricity were reestablished in most settlements.

„Dear citizens, we further rely on your calm and understanding. Taking into account that we have war in the immediate neigbourhood, the risks of disconnections remain quite high,’’ Natalia Gavrilita added.
