Moldovan economics minister resigns from office

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - Economics Minister Sergiu Gaibu offered resignation today. Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita confirmed the fact at the cabinet meeting.
„The ministry’s team has done an excellent job and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for support and team spirit. I thank the colleagues from the cabinet of ministers and Mrs. prime minister for a good cooperation in these times full of challenges,’’ Sergiu Gaibu said.
According to the PM, the head of the parliamentary commission specialized in economics, Dumitru Alaiba, will be appointed as economics minister.
