Moldovan MPs to convene at plenary meeting on 17 November

Chisinau, 16 November /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament will hold a plenary meeting on 17 November. The standing bureau’s members today completed the agenda with proposals by standing commissions.   

On 17 November starting from 10:00, the lawmakers will consider the European Moldova 2030 national development strategy, in the second reading. The MPs will also propose for adoption a draft law which sees the ensuring of the rights of victims in case of offences as to the sexual life and domestic violence.     

The parliament is also to consider a legislative initiative which regards the work of the official statistics, in order to consolidate the access to sources of relevant administrative and private data for the working out of official statistics, as well as to continue to adjust the national statistics to the EU’s standards and good practices. The lawmakers will also discuss amendments to more normative acts, among which the law on the small- and medium-sized enterprises, law on capital market, law on the pharmaceutical activity, law on the fishing fund, fishing and fish breeding, etc.   

The agenda of the meeting also includes a parliament decision on the ceasing of the mandate of adviser for settlement of claims – director general of the National Agency for Settlement of Claims, following the resignation.
