New director of Public Property Agency introduced to team

Chisinau, Nov. 17 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița today introduced to the staff of the Public Property Agency (APP) new director general of the institution Alexandru Musteață, appointed at yesterday's cabinet meeting. Gavrilita said that he has more than 20 years of managerial and professional experience, including in management positions within some private and state companies, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

In this context, the prime minister voiced confidence that the new head will significantly contribute to the implementation of concrete actions for the development of the Agency, highlighting, at the same time, the need to continue the positive developments recorded by APP in the recent period.

"Great progress has been made in improving the performance of some state-owned enterprises, with certain aspects being handled very well by APP, such as the energy crisis. At the same time, we must boost the investigation of some cases that have not yet been elucidated - citizens expect us to do justice, that's why we must set priorities and continue working in the interest of the state", said Gavrilița.

For his part, Alexandru Musteață thanked for the trust given by the Government, noting that the basic priority will remain the efficiency of the agency's activity. "We will make an effort so that the process of managing state assets and enterprises reaches a new level," he said.

Alexandru Musteață has worked in areas such as economic security, financial and tax consultancy and risk management, being responsible for the efficiency of operational, commercial and logistic processes. He has a military education, attended several training programs in the security management and was awarded the Order for Service to the Fatherland.
