Roadmen start preparatory works for 2022-2023 cold season

Chisinau, Nov. 17 /MOLDPRES/- State Roads Administration (ASD) has started the measures to prepare national public roads for 2022-2023 cold season.

For the maintenance and administration of the national public road network, ASD has concluded contracts with Roads company in the territory. "In order to maintain the viability of the road network, measures were taken to prepare roads and road enterprises for activity in the winter season of 2022-2023. During the execution of snow removal and distribution of anti-skid material on public roads, it is expected to train 517 special vehicles and road equipment", the institution said.

Over 31,000 tons of anti-slip material are prepared to combat the slippery slope, of which 9,500 tons of technical salt and over 45,000 tons of sand.

Also, for the additional use of the snow removal technique and increasing the efficiency of public road maintenance works, Roads company will conclude direct contracts with economic agents in the territory.
