USAID to hold new robotics competition for pupils

Chisinau, Nov. 19 /MOLDPRES/- The National Center for Digital Innovations in Education Classroom of the Future will organize the SumoBot Challenge Moldova 2022 robotics competition. The deadline for team registration is November 25, 2022.
According to the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which manages the Classroom of the Future project, the competition will take place on Saturday, December 3, and will take place in the premises of the National Center for Digital Innovations in Education.
"Pupils aged of 10 - 17 years old can enter the competition. Each institution can register a maximum of three teams in the competition, registration in the form will be done separately for each team. The team can be composed of two students guided by a coach. The total number of teams that will participate in the competition is 64", the agency indicates.
USAID promotes educational innovations and the study of STEAM subjects to help students in the Republic of Moldova develop the skills and abilities needed for the professions of the future.
