Over 90% of buildings in Chisinau connected to heating

Chisinau, Nov. 21 /MOLDPRES/- Over 90% of the buildings in Chisinau were connected to the heating. Director-general of Termoelectrica company Vasile Leu made the statement at the operational meeting of the municipal services.

According to the official, in total, 91% of the buildings were connected to heat. "Several economic agents and private houses are part of the remaining 9%. Some of them asked to be connected to the heating agent at the end of this month", said Vasile Leu.

At the same time, 99 percent of the housing stock was connected to heat.

The thermal season in the capital began on November 7. It starts when average daily temperatures of up to +10°C are recorded for three consecutive days.
