Ministry of Culture to earmark five million lei for 2023 cultural project competition

Chisinau, Nov. 22 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Culture announces the launch of the contest for cultural projects, carried out by non-commercial organizations for 2023. The budget is five million lei (about 257 thousand euros).

According to the organizers, the cultural projects of non-commercial organizations will be financed in the amount of a maximum of 200 thousand lei per project, ensuring up to 80% of the implementation cost of a project. The contribution of non-commercial organizations will be at least 20% of the project cost, provided from their own sources or through co-financing. The winning projects will be financed in the same percentage as the accumulated score, between 60 and 100% of the requested amount.

The deadline for submitting cultural projects is November 25, 2022.

The cultural projects of the non-commercial organizations are to be submitted to the competition for one of the following six thematic areas: Visual arts; Performing Arts, Music; Education through culture; Written culture; Cultural heritage.
