Chisinau, Nov. 23 /MOLDPRES/- We demonstrate that the reforms announced by the current government's team are being carried out, and the large corruption cases, which have brought millions and billions of damage to the Republic of Moldova have a finality. Prime Minister Natalia Gavriliţa made the statement at the beginning of today's cabinet meeting, with reference to the decision of the Court of Appeal, according to which Chisinau Airport returns to state management.

The Prime Minister assured that the transition will be carried out transparently, democratically, without jeopardizing the activity process of the structure and without causing unjustified dismissals.

"We are a team, we are strong, we are determined to return to the state what was stolen by certain people, under obscure conditions", she said.

Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development said that the return of the International Airport to the state is another remarkable success after the recent decision to return the railway stations and bus stations to the state. "We have plans that provide for a thorough reform of airport services, for the benefit of people, passengers, which will make us attractive for partners", he said.

The Chisinau Court of Appeal decided today to terminate the Chisinau Airport concession contract.
