Old building of fire, rescue unit to be transferred to property of Edineț

Chisinau, Nov. 23 /MOLDPRES/- Cabinet approved today the transfer of an immovable asset from the property of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to that of Edineț. The property was previously used as a fire and rescue unit, until the construction of the new headquarters, built with the support of the technical assistance program, launched by the US Government in the Republic of Moldova.

According to the government's communication and protocol department, with the construction of the new headquarters of the rescuers and firefighters unit in Edineț, located on another land, the need to hold the old headquarters of the unit in the economic management of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations disappeared.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs jointly with the Edineț Municipal Council will set up the transmission commission and ensure within 30 days the transmission of the asset in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the method of transmission of public property assets, approved by Government Decision No 901/2015.
