Moldovan PM meets acting President of Romanian Senate in Bucharest

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita has had a meeting with acting President of the Romanian Senate Alina-Ștefania Gorghiu during her one-day visit to Bucharest. The discussions were focused on a wide range of subjects, such as the present situation in the region and the threats triggered by the war in Ukraine, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
PM Gavrilita expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by the Romanian side to overcome the crisis in the energy, humanitarian and economic sectors. She also highlighted the need of the further mobilization of the international community, in order to provide financial and technical assistance to Moldova.
The Bucharest official reconfirmed the constant support and the full involvement of Romania in identifying operational solutions to the most pressing challenges faced by Moldova.
Natalia Gavrilita and Alina-Ștefania Gorghiu referred to the consequences of the energy crisis and the legislative and operational solutions which might enhance Moldova’s energy security. The sides also agreed on boosting and strengthening the bilateral cooperation for the advancement of Moldova’s European integration, efficient implementation of reforms and promotion of the common European values.
