Residents of Moldova's Sangerei city to benefit from modern social infrastructure

Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has participated in the inauguration of the Unirea (Union) square from the Sangerei city. A playground and a football ground, as well as recreation spaces were arranged there, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The overall budget of the project implemented in Sangerei was of about 16 million lei, allocated from the National Fund for Development and the local budget. Thus, more yards of blocks of flats, public transport stops and sidewalks were renovated. Also, a playground was set at the Kindergarten No 1 from the settlement.
„The local development is one of our commitments and we have already made the first steps, in order to start the modernization in our villages and cities,’’ Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu said.
It is worth mentioning that, within the European Village programme, the Sangerei city will benefit from 11 projects with a total budget of 51 million lei. As a result, the water supply networks will be rehabilitated and the settlement will be connected to the Balti-Soroca aqueduct.
