Moldova's State Fiscal Service registers 19,078 contracts on lease

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State Fiscal Service (SFS) today informed that it had registered 19,078 contracts on lease during January-November 2022, which is by 16.5 per cent more against the same period of the year before.

According to SFS, the collections of income taxes from private people who leased real estate grew by 22.2 per cent in the first 11 months of this year, against the same period of the previous year and amount to 36.9 million lei (over 1.85 million euros).

„As a result of actions of voluntary compliance and informing, 5,697 people who lease real estate were identified on the period January-November 2022. The following payments were additionally calculated for the budget at 492 private people: basic payments worth 348,800 lei, late-payment penalties of 28,700 lei and fine was imposed worth 39,700 lei,’’ SFS also said.
