Creative Europe announced contest for translation of literary works

Chisinau, Dec. 13 /MOLDPRES/-EU Delegation to Moldova announced under the Creative Europe project a contest for the translation of literary works, with a total budget of five million euros. The registration deadline is February 21, 2023.

“Eligible organizations and consortia will translate, publish, distribute and promote a minimum of five works such as fiction, poetry, comics and others. In the context of Russia's war against Ukraine, Ukrainian translations for refugees are particularly encouraged", the EU Embassy in Chisinau said.

Participants who translate between five and ten books could benefit from a grant worth up to 100,000 euros; those who translate between 11 and 20 books - 200,000 euros; and for a minimum of 21 books - 300,000 euros.
