State University awarded Doctor Honoris Causa title to DRRM state secretary

Chisinau, 14 Dec. /MOLDPRES/- Yesterday, the Senate of Moldova State University awarded the honorary title of Doctor Honoris Causa to state secretary of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova (DRRM) Adrian Dupu.

"By awarding this honorary title, we want to once again express our gratitude for all the support you have given to our university. In such a short time we managed together to realize beautiful projects, the results of which will be enjoyed by generations of students and teaching staff at USM. You have left a valuable legacy to the young generation of USM students, for which we can only be deeply grateful", USM head Igor Sharov said.

For his part, Adrian Dupu said he is honored by the award of the high title and his integration into the academic community of the most prestigious higher education institution in the Republic of Moldova. "I feel honored and grateful to receive the title of Doctor Honoris Causa from the largest and most important university in the Republic of Moldova. Thank you for accepting me to be part of the academic world with this honorary degree, a world that I have always admired and appreciated. I confess to you that for me these moments are really overwhelming", he said.
