Moldovan government approves public order and security program for 2022-2025

Chisinau, Dec. 21 /MOLDPRES/- The degree of safety of the population at home, in the community, in the activity environments, in road traffic and on public roads will be increased. The cabinet approved today the public order and security program for 2022-2025.

According to the government's communication and protocol department, the document aims to bring public order services closer to the people, including through a better coverage of the territory, as well as through the development of communication and interaction skills with citizens. Complementarily, the program lays the foundations of a police culture oriented towards the needs of the population. Thus, the response to emergency calls will be prompt and efficient.

At the same time, the Program will ensure the standardization of intervention procedures, training, coordination and the flow of information between the subdivisions specialized in the public order and security, as well as equipping front-line employees and support structures with modern equipment.

This is the fourth program out of six, to be approved by the Government, in order to implement the Strategy for the development of internal affairs for 2022-2030.
