Stefan Voda multifunctional center to be renovated

Chisinau, Dec. 22 /MOLDPRES/-Multifunctional administrative center in Ștefan Vodă will be renovated and energy efficient, announced Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, after yesterday's cabinet meeting held there.

"The roof of the center is leaking, the building is deteriorating and cosmetic repairs are done almost every year, the city has no budget for major repairs. From the European Village program, almost nine million lei (450 thousand euros) were allocated for the modernization of this institution", he said.

"Upgrading the building will benefit the entire community, especially the nearly 80 employees. Moreover, with the renovation of the center, new jobs will be created and seven new local services will be opened", he said.
