MPs made amendments to state budget law

Chisinau, Dec. 22 /MOLDPRES/- Parliament voted today in the second reading to amend the State Budget Law for this year, as a result of the increase in the share capital of Energocom company carried out in September-November based on the decisions of the Commission for Emergency Situations.

The total increase in the social capital of the state enterprise, during this period, was over 5.7 billion lei. Following the changes, the revenues of the state budget for this year are set at the level of 59.3 billion lei, the expenses at 73.9 billion lei, and the deficit at 14.6 billion lei.

The increase in the share capital of Energocom was aimed at increasing the capacity to purchase natural gas and electricity, forming natural gas stocks, as well as ensuring the necessary conditions for the continuation of the supply of natural gas to Moldovagaz company.
