Yellow Code of fog announced in Moldova

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has announced a Yellow Code of fog in most regions of Moldova till 24 December at noon.
According to meteorologists, the fog will be maintained on extended areas, with a visibility lower than 200 metres.
In these conditions, the police warn drivers to move with low speed, to avoid involvement on manoeuvres which can prove risky in the state of low visibility and to use the vehicles’ fog lights.
Air temperatures of up to +5 Celsius degrees, rains and sleet are expected on the days to come.
