Two other criminal cases on violence against police employees to be investigated

Chisinau, Dec. 27 /MOLDPRES/- Prosecutors announced today that they sent two more criminal cases on violence against police officers to court.

According to the General Prosecutor's Office, the first case took place on December 3. The accused, who turned out to be a 27-year-old young man, being drunk, attacked two policemen with his feet.

The young man fully admitted his guilt. He faces up to 3 years in prison.

The second case, in which there are three accused aged 20, 28 and 32, took place on December 4. They being drunk aimed at stopping the service activity of the employees of the Criuleni Police Inspectorate, who were in the service of patrolling and maintaining public order and were examining the notification regarding the driving of the means of transport without a driver's license, without license plates registration and with suspicions of alcoholic intoxication regarding one of the accused (the 20-year-old), they called the two crew members abusive words, after which they handcuffed one of them and they headbutted him and punched him on various parts of his body, also damaging his service uniform.
