Moldova to receive 100 million euros on behalf of European Investment Bank

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide Moldova with an additional loan worth 100 million euros. The MPs today ratified the contract on financing between Moldova and EIB for the supply and carrying out, in continuation, of the Moldova Roads III project.

The money will be spent both for the finishing of the works underway within the project, and for the repair and construction networks of national roads: rehabilitation of the road R34 Hancesti – Leova – Giurgiulesti, sector III, Cantemir – Cahul (km 82 – km 125); M3 Chisinau – Comrat – Giurgiulesti – border with Romania, building the bypass road of the Cimislia town (km 0 – km 7).

All works will be carried out based on feasibility studies, which prove the economic efficiency of the objects, as well as of the project documentation, worked out in line with the normative acts in the sector.
