24 new ambulances distributed to emergency medical teams in Moldova

Chisinau, 11 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- A number of 24 new ambulances were distributed today during a festive event to emergency medical assistance teams in the capital and in several districts.

Attending the event was State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Ion Prisăcaru.

He said that 17 out of the 24 car toilets are type C and will be distributed to the substations of the National Center for Emergency Medical Care (CNAMUP) that have resuscitation teams. Type C ambulances have the necessary equipment to monitor vital functions and will allow faster travel to hospitals in the country. Type C car toilets will reach the substations in Bălți, Drochia, Edineț, Ocnița, Soroca, Hâncești and in the substations in the capital.

Type B ambulances will be assigned to teams from Chisinau, Ialoveni, Cimișlia, Cornești and Zărnești.

In June 2022, the park of the National Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Center was renewed with 30 new ambulances.
