Moldovan, French officials broach current situation

Chisinau, 18 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a meeting with Minister of State for Europe Laurence Boone at the World Economic Forum in Davos. They approached the current situation in our country and bilateral cooperation, especially in the context of the aspirations of European integration, the presidential press service has reported.

Maia Sandu thanked the French authorities for the support in overcoming the crises and on European integration. The meeting of the European Political Community hosted by our country this year, on June 1, in which French President Emmanuel Macron - the initiator of this platform - will also participate, will be a good opportunity to deepen relations with European partners.

At the same time, the head of state appreciated the effective Moldovan-French cooperation in the anti-corruption and the recovery of stolen goods from our country.
