Gavrilita approached the cabinet actions in the European integration and economic development of the Republic of Moldova, and the reforms undertaken by the government.

"The year 2022 offered us a historic moment, the Republic of Moldova obtained the status of a candidate country for EU accession. We still have many challenges that we will manage to overcome with the support of our external partners. This year, we set out to increase economic resilience and accelerate reforms. We will focus on fulfilling the conditions put forward by the European Commission, we are in permanent contact with the members of the Venice Commission in reforming the justice system. Last year, we managed to take concrete and decisive steps in the de-oligarization segment of the country, an example in this sense being the return of the bus stations and the International Airport to the management of the state", said Gavrilița.

Tytti Tuppurainen reconfirmed Finland's support in meeting the European Commission's conditions and voiced confidence that in a short time, Moldova will start accession negotiations to the EU bloc.

"I want to assure you of all our support. We are ready to deepen cooperation with the Republic of Moldova also in the energy supply. We encourage you to continue working on the implementation of the projects you have started, especially those aimed at strengthening institutions. We want to have EU members with strong institutions that share the same European values," added Tytti Tuppurainen.

Daniela Gîtman appreciated the decision of the Chisinau Government to identify solutions to overcome the crises and urged the authorities to count on the support of Romania and the European community: "I know you have a full agenda for this year, including you are going to host on 1 June the second meeting of the European Political Community. We are here to see how we can support you in the pre-accession process and provide you with all the necessary support".
