Romania donates medical equipment worth about 1.4 million euros to National Army

Chisinau, 19 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Romanian government has donated medical equipment worth over 7 million Romanian lei (1.4 million euros) to the National Army.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the equipment will reach Chisinau by January 20. The Romanian side donated medical goods in the context of preventing and combating infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The batch includes 1,000 visors, 9,000 glove boxes, 2,000 protective plastic goggles, 3 million surgical masks, as well as 500,000 protective masks.

The goods will be transported from the Leușeni customs point with military trucks belonging to the National Army, and will be distributed to the Material Reserve Agency and the Central Military Clinical Hospital.
