Moldova Fruct to take over experience from Polish producers

Chisinau, 20 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- A group of members of the Moldova Fruit Association is on a study visit to Poland on 17-21 January. The agenda of Moldovan producers includes an exchange of experience in the fruit production with a country that ranks first in Europe and third in the world in apple production.

"Farmers from our country visited TSW 2023 Exhibition, considered one of the largest horticulture exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe. This fair is a meeting place for fruit and vegetable producers with manufacturers and distributors of equipment and technologies, inputs and service providers for the horticultural industry. Also here, the members of the Association had meetings with the representatives of some companies of agricultural machinery, packaging and reusable containers", according to Moldova Fruct.

The Moldova Fruct delegation also visited the largest wholesale fruit and vegetable market in Poland, Bronize, where several B2B meetings took place with stone fruit traders and importers. "Meetings are planned with key institutions such as the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the National Support Center for Agriculture and Poles in Warsaw," the quoted source said.

The visit is organized with the support of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Poland.
