Another two settlements from central Moldova district have access to water within European Village Programme

Chisinau, 20 January /MOLDPRES/ - Another two settlements from the central Telenesti district have access to water, following the implementation of two projects included in the European Village Programme.   

Thus, a water tower was constructed and set in the Cazanesti village, for which a sum of about one million lei (50,000 euros) was allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL). As a result, the process of water’s accumulation, as well as of regulating the pressure of water and its consumption in the aqueduct network was facilitated. Following the project’s implementation, over 10,000 beneficiaries, more economic agents, as well as the principal public institutions from the settlement will connect to the water supply system.   

According to the National Office for Regional and Local development (ONDRL), another similar project was carried out in the Ordasei village. The cabinet invested over 900,000 lei for the cost of the works of embankment and the setting of a new water tower. Therefore, 200 households, five public institutions, as well as more economic agents will connect to the aqueduct system.    

The Telenesti district benefits from 22 projects within the European Village National Programme. Their overall value is of about 66 million lei, from FNDRL.
