Peresecina high school's roof renovated

Chisinau, 23 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Alexandru Donici High School's roof in Peresecina village, Orhei district, was renovated. The works took place under the European Village Program and cost 2 million lei (100 thousand euros), money allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).

Following the implementation of the project, 820 pupils and over 100 teaching staff benefit from better conditions for carrying out the instructional-educational process.

Orhei district has 20 projects included in the European Village Program. Their total value is around 40 million lei, from FNDRL. Another project completed in Orhei concerned the repair of the roof of a kindergarten block in Ivancea village.

The European Village National Local Development Program is worked out and implemented by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development through the National Office for Regional and Local Development. It includes 490 projects, 56 of which have already been completed.
