Moldovan government to further support economic agents to develop, expand businesses

Chisinau, 26 Jan. /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița visited an agro-industrial complex in Siscani village, Nisporeni district, specialized in fruit processing and drying. The company sells the finished products on the domestic market, as well as in countries such as Romania, Bulgaria, the USA, Canada etc., the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Company's administrator Dorin Cibotaru said he is going to apply for participation in the Government's support programs, "to be more competitive and more prepared for the European market". "We set out to develop and modernize the company, including increasing its production capacity by doubling the number of employees. In the future, we want our products to end up on the tables of children in kindergartens and schools in the country", said the entrepreneur.
Gavrilița said that the support of entrepreneurs is one of the Government's priorities. The government will further support the business environment, through the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, including the FACEM fund, which involves long-term credit lines, at fixed interest, so that economic agents can better plan their investments. "We have already managed to identify new markets for local producers. I encourage you to use the tools we offer to develop your business and grow the Republic of Moldova", she said.
The premier also said that there is a state compensation program for economic agents. "Like last year, we will create a mechanism to offset expenses for energy and gas for three months during the winter period. We are now working on developing this tool. We will come with details shortly", she said.
NISVINEX GRUP company is launched in 2004, aimed at processing, drying and preserving fruits. Today, over 30 employees work in the company. It has three modern warehouses and several cold rooms, with a total storage capacity of 4 thousand tons.
