During four months since the starting of the projects, public illumination networks have been modernized in the villages of Schineni, Ocolina and Rublenita from Soroca district, Musteata and Risipeni from the Falesti district, Ursoaia (Causeni), Vasilcau (Soroca), Banesti (Telenesti), Zagarancea (Ungheni), Dolna (Straseni), Cupcui (Leova), Javgur (Cimislia), Mindresti (Telenesti), Siscani (Nisporeni) and Lipceni (Rezina).

The network comprises over 100 LED illumination corps, which provide visibility and safety to about 1,600 residents of the village.

The project cost about 515,000 lei (25,000 euros) – money allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development.

The single programme document for 2022-2023 comprises 43 projects which see the setting of public illumination, according to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL).
