Moldovan Deputy PM, Ambassador of Azerbaijan discuss regional situation

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today had a meeting with Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moldova Gudsi Osmanov, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

The officials exchanged opinions on the regional situation in the Black Sea zone, in the light of the recent developments, the security vulnerabilities, as well as the devastating consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Deputy PM Oleg Serebrian stressed that the 5+2 format of negotiations would remain frozen during the military hostilities in Ukraine. At the same time, the official reviewed the latest developments in the Chisinau-Tiraspol relation, the present stage of the interaction on the functional platforms of negotiation, perspectives of the advancement of the dialogue on technical and humanitarian subjects.
