Chisinau, Feb. 1 /MOLDPRES/- A new regional hospital will be built in Balti. Parliament is going to consider a draft law on withdrawal from the agricultural circuit of five hectares of land in the outskirts of Corlăteni village.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, the land on which the hospital is to be built is under the management of the Field Crops Research Institute Selecția. Today, the members of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture and Food Industry approved a report on the draft amendment to the annex to the Law for the approval of the List of units whose land intended for agriculture remains state property.
The right of administration over the land with an area of five hectares is proposed to be transferred from the Public Property Agency to the Ministry of Health, this being a conditionality of the Development Bank of the Council of Europe for the approval of the loan granted to the Republic of Moldova for the construction of the Balti Regional Hospital.
The draft law was set up by the Ministry of Health and is to be examined by the deputies.
