Other three projects of European Village programme finished in northern Moldova

Chisinau, 2 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Community Centre and the Library of the Camenca village, northern Glodeni district, have been endowed with furniture, modern technology and traditional costumes. The project’s value, which is part of the European Village Programme, is of 1.5 million lei (75,000 euros).

New furniture was purchased also for the Community Centre from the Pociumbauti village, northern Rascani district. The investment amounts to 120,000 lei, allocated from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development, through the European Village Programme.

Street public illumination on a distance of about 5 km was set in the Hiliuti village, Rascani district. Over 100 energy efficient illumination objects were used in all. The project’s cost is of almost 250,000 lei.

According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), the Rascani district benefits from eight projects within the European Village Project and the Glodeni district – from 16 projects. Their overall value exceeds 78 million lei.
