Moldovan National Anticorruption Centre's officers make new raid at Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture

Chisinau, 2 February /MOLDPRES/ - Another 12 searches today were carried out by officers of the North territorial department of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA) and anticorruption prosecutors at the homes and headquarters of the managers of six companies working in the agriculture sector in northern Moldova – Balti municipality and the districts of Drochia, Rascani, Falesti and Glodeni.

According to CNA, law-enforcers today raised payment orders, fiscal invoices, certificates which confirm the submission of files on subsidization, mobile phones and other means as relevant evidence for the cause. Also, on the last days, another two denunciations were submitted on similar deeds of corrupting at the providing of subsidies, based on which two criminal files were opened.

On 24 January, officers of the National Anticorruption Centre carried out criminal prosecution actions in 26 criminal files, opened on abuse of power, passive corruption, active corruption, influence peddling and money laundering. More employees of the Agency of Intervention and Payments for Agriculture (AIPA), as well as representatives of economic agents were detained for unlawful acts committed at the providing of subsidies for agriculture.
