Several mayors in Moldova received state awards

Chisinau, Feb. 3 /MOLDPRES/- The decree on state awards was published in today's issue of the Official Journal.

According to the document, under Article 88 (a) of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and the Law on state awards of the Republic of Moldova, the Moldovan President decrees: for long and prodigious work in local public administration bodies, for the tenacity and professionalism in the promotion and implementation of social-economic transformations, and for active civic position, the Order of Honor is awarded to Străseni mayor Valentina Casian, Slobozia Mare mayor - Valentina Carastan and Edineț mayor - Constantin Cojocari.

The mayor of Logănești village, Hâncești district, Valentin Danu, the mayor of Colibași village, Cahul district, Ion Dolganiuc, the mayor of Corjova village, Criuleni district, Gheorghe Ojog were also awarded distinctions.

The Civic Merit medal was awarded to mayors of Mereșeuca, Ocnița district, Ștefan Voda, Fundul Galbenei, Hâncești district, Ecaterinovca village, Cimișlia district, mayor of Feștelita village, Ștefan Vodă district and mayor of Vinogradovca village, Taraclia district.
