Parliament speaker meets Moldovans settled in Sweden

Chisinau, 7 February /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, on an official visit to Stockholm, has discussed with Moldovans settled in the Kingdom of Sweden, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.     

The speaker noted that, being thousands kilometers far from their country, the fellow countrymen were connected to the realities from Moldova and wanted their country to develop. ‘’Peace and the country’s European integration are the goals of those who left Moldova as well. Their life stories, their active involvement in the social life confirms me our strength to succeed together,’’ the parliament speaker said.  

The discussions were focused on Diaspora Moldovans’ suggestions to improve the business environment from Moldova, as well as the fact how can they contribute to the country’s development and to the country project – Moldova’s accession to the European Union.  

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, along with a parliamentary delegation, pay an official visit to Sweden on 6-9 February 2023, at an invitation by his Swedish counterpart.
