Moldovan government starts consultations on new public administration reform

Chisinau, 9 Feb. /MOLDPRES/- On 10-17 February 2023, representatives of the Government, the Parliament and the State Chancellery will discuss with mayors, district heads, representatives of the central and local administration, decentralized services employees, representatives of the international community, the draft public administration reform strategy for 2023-2030.
Thus, starting tomorrow, 10 regional events will be held. On February 10, all interested actors are expected in Telenești, Căușeni and Ungheni.
On February 14, two other events will be held in Cahul where representatives of Cantemir and Taraclia districts will come, and in Hâncești where representatives of Cimișlia, Basarabeasca and Leova districts are also expected.
On February 15, representatives of Chisinau, Criuleni, Străseni, Dubăsari and Ialoveni will meet at the Palace of the Republic for public consultations. On February 17, three more territorial meetings will be organized with those from the north of the country: in Balti, Edineț and Soroca. And the tenth public consultation will take place in Comrat with representatives of Gagauzia.
Later, by February 17, the State Chancellery will systematize all the proposals to modify the new strategy for the elaboration of the final document that will be proposed for approval by the Government.
