Moldovan rescuers on mission in Turkey get out three-year-old boy from under rubble

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/ - Moldovan rescuers who left on mission for Turkey have saved a three-year-old boy from under the rubble of a block of flats destroyed by the last Monday earthquake.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), the child was recovered safe, after the crew of specialists had managed to identify him under the rubble. The boy has stayed under rubble during four days.
The child was taken on arms and put on a litter, so that physicians can provide his the assistance needed. Most likely, one of the relatives of the boy protected the latter during the disaster, while the relative was found dead under rubble, nearby the child.
The team of rescuers from Moldova started the search and rescue mission today morning, after they had been given sectors of intervention in the worst hit zone by the earthquake – Hatay province of Turkey.
