Unstable weather, thin ice danger expected in Moldova on next days

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/ - The weather is expected to be unstable in Moldova on the days to come, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.  

According to meteorologists, no precipitation is forecast for today; snowfall is expected on the rest of the days, first in all regions and then in some of them and their intensity will weaken. In these conditions, glazed frost is expected to appear on roads.

On 11 and 13 February, the night-time air temperatures will oscillate between -5 and -10 Celsius degrees and on 12 February – between -1 and -6 degrees. During the day, the maximal air temperatures will vary between -1 and +4 degrees.

Also, the SHS’ Hydrological Centre issued a warning valid for 11-13 February, on the danger posed by the ice in water basins.
