Public consultations on new strategy of public administration's reform continue in two Moldovan cities

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - Over 500 people on 10 February participated in public consultations on the strategy of public administration’s reform for 2023-2030. The meetings were held in Telenesti, Ungheni and Causeni and participants came from the districts of Telenesti, Orhei, Rezina, Soldanesti, Causeni, Anenii Noi, Stefan Voda, Ungheni, Calarasi and Nisporeni.  

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the people showed interest mostly in what changes the document brought to the regions where they live, what the voluntary amalgamation implies, which benefits it envisages, etc.

On 14 February starting from 10:00, the State Chancellery’s team and government’s representatives in the territory will organize another two public events, during which the provisions of the new strategy will be discussed.   

In Cahul, the meeting will take place in the session hall of the district council. Mayors, district heads, representatives of the central and local public administration, civil servants and employees of the de-concentrated services, local, district and municipal councilors, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations from the Cantemir, Taraclia and Cahul are invited to the consultations.    

The participants from the districts of Cimislia, Basarabeasca, Leova and Hancesti are expected in the session hall of the Hancesti city hall.

The State Chancellery will systematize all proposals on amending the new strategy, in order to work out the final document proposed for approval at cabinet meeting.
