Moldovan PM-designate to unveil composition of future government on 16 February

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister-designate Dorin Recean on 16 February will unveil the action programme and the composition of the future government in parliament’s plenum. The standing bureau of the parliament today summoned and approved the agenda of the plenary meetings, due to be held on the period 16 February – 2 March.   

The plenary meeting will start at 10:00 and the PM-designate will present the action programme and the composition of the future cabinet of ministers at about 14:00.  

The agenda approved for the next two weeks includes more legislative initiatives, due to be considered in the first reading: the draft law on the services of participatory financing, a legislative initiative on the amendment of normative acts related to the field of participatory governance and of the capital market, amendment of the law on energy efficiency, as well as Moldova’s accession to the Council of Europe’s Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes.  

On the same period, the lawmakers will consider, in the second reading, a legislative initiative worked out in order to stimulate the electronic trade and the one which provides for the amendment of the conditions of establishing and providing the social benefit and the benefit for the cold period of the year. Also in the second reading, the MPs will examine amendments to the law on the public office and the status of civil servant, to the law on the licence of entrepreneur and the law on informing the consumer about food products.   

The lawmakers will also consider a draft decision on the ceasing of the capacity of member of the Central Electoral Commission and will hear the report on the audit of the conformity as to the expenses and capital investments at the natural gas enterprises which were imposed obligations of public service, as well as at the related enterprises.
