Council of Europe to offer our country support in implementing initiatives to promote culture, tourism

Chisinau, February 16 /MOLDPRES/- The Republic of Moldova will benefit from support for the implementation of initiatives to promote culture and tourism. The Parliament adopted today, in two readings, the draft law on accession of our country to the partially extended Agreement of the Council of Europe on cultural routes.
According to the document, the Republic of Moldova will benefit from support and assistance in the implementation of policies for the development of cultural routes. The agreement also provides the Council of Europe Cultural Route certification.
The Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes aims to develop a common cultural space. The document entered into force in 2011. Currently, 37 states are members of the Agreement.
