Over 70 thousand people visited Made in Moldova exhibition

Chisinau, February 16 /MOLDPRES/- Over 70 thousand people visited the 20th edition of Made in Moldova Exhibition, which was organized on February 1-5 at Moldexpo. The results were presented today by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

CCI head Sergiu Harea said that about 350 local companies participated in the exhibition and presented their products on an area of 3800 square meters in two pavilions of the Moldexpo Center. Delegates from 12 countries were also present at the event, who had the opportunity to get to know local Moldovan products. Among the visitors were people from Romania, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Japan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Belgium.

The event brought together local entrepreneurs from all fields of the national economy, including the food industry, the wine industry, the furniture industry, light industry, machinery, technique and apparatus, scientific research institutions, folk craftsmen.

The Made in Moldova exhibition also included an extensive business program. Within it, 15 activities were organized, in which, in total, about 1550 people participated. At the same time, the exhibitors initiated over 60 cooperation contracts with local and foreign entrepreneurs for the promotion of Moldovan products. Most of the contracts concluded were in the field of fruit and vegetable preservation, packaging, textiles, pastry and bakery, services. According to a survey conducted by CCI, 89% of the companies participating in the event declared themselves satisfied with the results of the exhibition.

The Made in Moldova 2023 was organized by the CCI, under the patronage of the Government, in partnership with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA).
